| ISS Visits Ronald McDonald House |

On June 28th, 2009, the ISS Cincinnati team (officers, site managers, ISS management, and spouses) volunteered their day at the Ronald McDonald House. The ISS team prepared and served meals to approximately 80 guests. All of the food that was prepared was donated by employees and some ISS customers.
At Industrial Security Service, Inc., we value the business relationships we enjoy with our customers. Of equal importance is the relationship we value with our communities as a whole; those communities that many of our employees live in, as well as work in. We feel an obligation to do what we can to support those local needs.
Far more important than just making donations, there is a special value associated with employees giving up their time and rolling up their sleeves to pitch in where needed.
A special Thank you to ISS employees, spouses and customers who donated the resources and time to make this a memorable event.
The Ronald McDonald house provides shelter, food, and support services to parents and family members of children receiving extended treatment at The Children's Hospital. These guests arrive from all over the world so that their children may receive the special services that "Children's" has to offer. They are obviously under stress with these circumstances, and the Ronald McDonald House is an oasis of relief to them each day.

| Preparing for Pandemic Flu/ H1N1 |

Seasonal flu, H1N1 flu, avian flu, and pandemic flu are not the same.
A pandemic is a global disease outbreak. A flu pandemic occurs when a new influenza virus emerges for which people have little or no immunity and for which there is no vaccine. The disease spreads easily person-to-person, causes serious illness, and can sweep across the country and around the world in very short time. An influenza pandemic may be caused by either swine (pig) or avian (bird) flu viruses.

The latest U.S. information can be found on the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) Web site.
Pandemic planning requires that people and entities not accustomed to responding to health crises understand the actions and priorities required to prepare for and respond to these potential risks.
 |
 |
Over the next couple of months, ISS management/training team will be conducting the "Pandemic Flu. How to Prepare and Respond" training for all site managers, officers and employees of the company. The training objectives will be:
- Recognize the risks
- Identify flu symptoms
- Prevent the spread of infection
- Prepare for and deal with a Pandemic at work and at home
- Know what to do if you get sick
We all have a responsibility to perform activities deemed prudent and realistic, with the goal of offering as safe a workplace as possible, while continuing to deliver the essential products and services. Along with the Pandemic training, ISS corporate will be supplying each site where our officers are posted with Hand Sanitizers for when soap and water are not readily available.
